Solar Prime is designed to be the perfect addition to your pre-coating ritual. It helps to fill in the pores of gelcoat and allow your ceramic coating to have a better bond to the boats surface.
This is done by adding SiO2 in the Solar Prime formula. By providing a like substance for the coating to bond to you improve your chances of having a better ceramic coating install.
Solar Prime is a dustless, easy to wipe off formula, allowing for a stress free final step before applying your preferred ceramic coating. You’ll be amazed with level of gloss Solar Prime provides. Another great use is for coating maintenance, you can apply Solar Prime to clean up an already coated vessel and reapply a fresh coating if you do so before the previous coating is gone.

Instructions
- Use Solar Prep before to ensure a surface free from solvents & waxes.
- Work a 2×2 section with either a DA or by hand in overlapping passes with a light polishing pad.
- Clean pad frequently and do not allow polish to build up or harden in pad.
- Effortlessly wipe residual polish when done.
