Solar Defense makes cleaning up your boat easier than ever. It reduces the amount of washing you need to perform due to its hydrophobic (water shedding) properties. In many cases a weekly rinse and chamois dry and every other week wash with Bubble Bath will keep the boat looking good as new!
Our Marine Ceramic Coating is a flexible, semi-permanent coating designed to provide your boat with years of protection not months. Formulated specifically for the marine environment, Solar Defense has a longer working time and a heavy ratio of our main active ingredient so the gelcoats porous nature doesn’t absorb the ceramic. Instructions
Prior to application buff your boats surface to a pristine finish. This is the most important step.
Ensure no oils or waxes are on the surface so coating can adhere to gelcoat or paint properly.
Apply several drops to suede applicator.In a cross hatch pattern work product into a 3’X3′ section to ensure surface is thoroughly coated.
Allow 3-5 minutes or until product flashes and then level and wipe off with a clean microfiber towel.If desired wait an hour and apply a second coat for added protection.

While many other ceramic coating manufacturers out there only want a professional to apply the coating, we aim to give you the tools to apply it by yourself and get the satisfaction of a job well done.
We formulated Solar Defense specifically for boat and yacht application, by giving you a more concentrated formula, allowing for a longer flash time. Meaning you can work with the product longer in the sun before it starts to harden onto the surface.

Important
Solar Defense will not correct the gelcoat or paint, you must remove all the oxidation and swirls from the surface prior to application in order to achieve the best results.
Directions:
Shake well and pour several drops to suede applicator. Apply to 3×3 sq. ft. area of your boat using a cross-hatch pattern with slight overlap to level product. Allow the coating to cure for 3-5 minutes or until it becomes tacky and gently remove excess product using a clean microfiber towel. Note keep an eye on the product if it begins to flash (cure) before 3-5 min you can begin wiping it off prior. Do NOT allow coating to come in contact with water for 48 hours while curing. Apply additional coats with at least one hour between applications. Do NOT apply in direct sunlight or to a hot surface. Cure time is dependant on environmental conditions – test product on a small inconspicuous area first to gauge cure time.
